Weekend Meditation #113 Troiku Hineri … at dawn

at dawn
I wash my feet with dew
the longest day

© Yozakura (1640-1716)

at dawn
the birds song
such a sweet music

I wash my feet with dew
walking across my garden –
a great delight

the longest day
I enjoy the warmth of sun
in my peaceful heart

***
at dawn
the first sun rays
caress my eyelids

the birds song
enchants my ears
all day long

such a sweet music –
only angels can sing
in heaven

***

I wash my feet with dew
walking in the fresh grass –
a new blessed day

walking across my garden
I pick up some flowers –
wonderful fragrance

a great delight
to see the splendor
of a new day

***

the longest day
I think of the miracle of life –
God’s in everything

I enjoy the warmth of sun
and the beauty of the whole nature –
infinite gratitude

in my peaceful heart
a love song is born –
cherubic hymn

New Beginnings … a huge wave (Crossroads feature)

a huge wave
thundering across the beach
my birthday

sky-clad
the new-born comes wrapped
in previous lives

© Jane Reichhold

wave after wave –
I can see all the new-borns
in my previous lives

wave after wave
comes to crash into the beach –
thundering roar

I can see all the new-borns
in the arms of their mothers –
looking for myself

in my previous lives
I’d like to see all my moms –
unfortunately I can’t

in deep prayer
souls soar into the sky –
divine music

in the deep silent night
illumination

peeping through fog
opening to the sun

sunshine lights
on hibiscus leaves before their
own dark

after the rain
opening to the sun
a hibiscus

after the rain
shining diamonds
on pink petals

opening to the sun
fresh colorful flower –
butterfly in flight

a hibiscus
swaying in the breeze –
bees all around

Weekend Meditation #97 depth of a flower (CD Crossroads)

windy weather
calling the flowers by name
each nods

depth of a flower
flying away with the bee
some mystery

field of flowers –
flying away with the wind
fresh perfumes

field of flowers –
a white butterfly lost
in the depth of a blue bell

flying away with the wind
bees laden with pollen –
summer rain

fresh perfumes
floating in the air –
shining raindrops

Daisies … Troiku challenge

around the mansion
daisies standing strong together
after the storm

© Chèvrefeuille (2012)

around the mansion
buzzing busy bees –
monotonous music

daisies standing strong together
caressed by the midday sun –
shadow of a cloud

after the storm
crowned with raindrops
resplendent petals

Flowers (modern kigo) – Troiku

depth of a flower
flying away with the bee
some mystery

depth of a flower –
the morning sun reflected
in a drop of dew

flying away with the bee
the sweet perfume of the rose –
a petal falls to the ground

some mystery
hides in every flower –
summer sunset

Troiku Month (20) With the moon

with the moon
night too disappears
into the ocean

© Jane Reichhold (1937-2016)

with the moon
the streetlamps light up
one after another

night too disappears
when the morning star
rises in the sky

into the ocean
a lot of starfish
come to the surface
